Horrible Experience/Terrible Customer Service

I was in the Okemos, MI store on Saturday, Sept 19, 2009 with my two daughters. Aero was having a sale on hoodies, most of which were 34.99. All were Buy 1, Get 1 free.
We had a coupon from our Seventeen magazine for Get a Hoodie for $17. We thought this would be a great opportunity to get 2 hoodies for my oldest daughter. When we tried to use our coupon with the sale, the (very young, very rude) clerk told us we couldn't. When I asked why, she stated, "We can't give you a hoodie for $17 and one free." Again, I asked why, as the sale was for Buy 1, Get 1, and I was buying a hoodie with a coupon. She said that we could not use a coupon on a sale item, that "I can buy 1 hoodie at 34.99 (the sale price mind you) for $17 with the coupon, or buy 1 at 34.99 and get one free." I tried explaining how this did not make sense - she said I could not use the coupon on a sale hoodie, but she is telling me I can on a 34.99 hoodie? Then the young clerk looks at the other girl beside her, rolls her eyes and mouths "What-ever."
I then proceeded to NOT purchase anything from the store (and never will again and will blog about it to my readers) and ask for the district managers name and number. The 2nd clerk did NOT want to give it to me, and the first one snickered under her breath about me asking.
I think this is ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and cannot believe Aeropostale would condone this behavior.

I want the sale as advertised with my coupon.
