march of 2008 i made a complaint to alltel about someone using my debit card and purchasing phone cards. this was reported to the sheriffs dept also. it has been over two years and alltel has not contacted me about the case and i have tried several times to find out when i will receive the money back that is owed to me. i was told it was under investigation and alltel would return the money owed...

I was due for a phone upgrade on two phones( I have 4 + air card) so I purchased two that had $50. ea. rebates on them After many weeks of waiting I went online to track my rebates and found that they were listed as invalid. I had the Alltel prepaid plan with the 700 anytime minutes for $70 with the unlimited nights &weekends & text messages. I called alltel last week to check on my minutes and was told that they had a new prepaid plan that is $54.99/mo with unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited web. I don't think its right that wireless customers are charged extra for incoming or outgoing texts when it doesn't cost them anymore to send a text then it does a phone call. And especially when we get incoming texts, why should we get charged for incoming texts when its not our fault someone wants to text us?! We have no control over who texts us.
I think Alltel (Verizon Wireless) should STOP...
