Alltel Broadband service

This is the second letter of complaint I've written about Alltel. We purchased a broadband card in Alpine, Texas with the understanding that we could put the account on hold and stop charges for several months while we were out of the country. We paid extra for this feature. We tried to put our account on hold and were told we couldn't even though the salesman at Alltel in Alpine told us specifically that we would be able to. I have tried repeatedly by phone, email, and snail mail to contact the salesman in Alpine but there has been no response. I tried contacting Alltel directly by email and snail mail. I've received some email saying that our complaint is under review but now we've received notification that our account has been sent to a collection agency. I guess Alltel doesn't know the meaning of good customer service.

I would like someone from Alltel to contact us immediately to resolve this issue, and I would like Alltel to remove our account from collections while the matter is under review!

As others asked in your original post, what does the contract you
signed have to say about suspending service on your broadband card?
It doesn't matter what you were told, only what's in the contract.

I have never heard of being able to suspend broadband service and most
people don't want to because they use it when they are on the road.
