My 86 year old mother in law passed away on Nov 19,2011 after a lengthy illness in a nursing home and later hospital stay. I am an AAadvantage member via Citibank. I used my mileage points to book a flight on 10/8/11, I was scheduled to fly to Miami on flight 1048 with final destination being Montego Bay, Jamaica. The flight was cancelled, and rescheduled with an additional flight thru Tampa, I was told that I would arrive in Montego Bay by 8pm, instead of my original time of 2pm. American Airlines is terrible for customer service. They completely deleted our flight into St. Lucia when we have had it booked for two months. We made all of our honeymoon arrangements based on the flight.
