I appreciate your effort to make amends, as well as your gesture of goodwill. However, when I travel, my airfare is paid for by whomever has hired me. So, although the travel voucher is appreciated, it does me no good. I would greatly prefer instead of the travel voucher that your policy of customers rights to their carry ons be respected. The day of our 10 year anniversary started out great! My husband and I were so excited to finally be alone without the kids. I would like to take the time to complain regarding American Airlines customer service practices. My mother and I were scheduled along with a group of ladies to leave Puerto Plata at 5:10pm to fly to Miami to catch a connecting flight to Columbus. I was on AA flights 1157/5125 on June 1, 2009 to Lawton, OK from San Antonio, Tx and on flights 5128/1839 from Lawton back to San Antonio. Both flights via DFW.
This was my first time on AA and I have to say I loved it. All flights were on time, the trip smooth, no issues. From check in to the flight attendants everyone was very nice. I will fly with yall again when I go back to Lawton...
