Disputed Fraudulent Charges

We were running advertising through a company called Richner Communications. After cancelling with our sales representative, our credit card continued to be charged for advertising. After bringing this to the sales rep's attention numerous times, we contacted the company and they claimed that the sales rep never placed a cancellation on the account. After going back and forth with the company for several weeks after that, we attempted to open up a chargeback with American Express for all of the charges in question, totaling over $50,000, but the rep would only allow us to go back to the end of February. Through the information obtained through the dispute process, we found forged credit card authorization forms with my signature, advertisements for numerous other businesses that were billed to our account (including some fictitious companies, which I can only assume were created so the sales rep could earn commission), and knowingly false statements made by the merchant. Despite an abundant amount of evidence proving all of these facts, American Express continues to decide in the merchant's favor and is holding our small business liable for all of these fraudulent charges. Further attempts to re-dispute these are immediately closed, and American Express employees that I have discussed the matter with have indicated that their internal notes state not to re-open these disputes. There is a lot more to this whole story, and I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss it in detail with a high level executive at American Express.

I would like all charges in question to be permanently removed from my account, since it is apparent that fraud was committed by the merchant and/or their agent.

perhaps you can file a police report?

i'd also suggest getting a lawyer

and changing your card number, listing the card as being compromised
