I'm sick of your declines

It has been 6 months I've been applying for American Express. I do everything every analyst tells me to do. Every time it's the same reason and I've had enough of it. I'm luckily able to say I'm working towards excellent credit, despite the insufficiecies American Express tells me.

I just want to let you know I'm officially done trying with your company and will spread the word around.

Consider this taking my business elsewhere!

Shame on American Express!

Spread what word around? The word that Amex requires their customers
have good credit? Start spreadin' the news.

WHY???

Sweet Jesus, Man! Just let it go already!!! It's not even worth it!

And as for "taking my business elsewhere," I'm pretty sure that's
exactly what they were hoping you would do!

Shame on them for denying a poor credit risk? I'll be sure to send
them a box of kleenex.

you have poor credit? Have at it. I don't think they'll be swayed by
this particular threat.

Luis N.,

What you describe sounds to me like you have been applying for the
last 6 months and have receievd numerous rejections. That would lead
me to believe that each time AX has pulled your credit report. Those
hits, depending on the type, add up and not in a good way.

Taking your business elsewhere makes sense in that not all people were
meant to have a credit relationship with certain companies.

That being said in the mean time I would get a "secure card" ,build my
credit score and most likely wait 6 - 12 months before even
attemptinmg to apply for one from one of the majors.

Have you requested copies of your credit report Free yet this year at:
AnnualCreditreport.com.

Good luck.

Bill R.
