terrible experience

I bought furniture around March 13th 2012 advised 2-6 weekd for delivery which I thought was ridiculous. Eventually the first part of the furniture was delivered around April 27th and only because I called and complained. One of the items was damaged and on that day I called Customer Service to let them know. I was advised someone would contact me within 24 hours. About a week or so later after no contact I called Ashley again and was told that they shipped me some piece and when I get it call them so they can come fix it. On May 22nd I finally got my last piece of furniture. Two months and some change later. I still had not received the piece for the damaged ottoman. Yesterday I called and asked where the piece was and no one seemed to know. I have to say the lady in Customer Service wa nice but clueless as to what happened. She said she would call me back. So today after no call back I called them again and was told that I would have to wait another 7-10 business days for someone from the service department to call me. I was furious. How long do I have to wait for this to finally be resolved. I refused to take that and asked for a manager...well well well they put me on the line with the service department, after being on hold for about 10 minutes and they will be out to fix this on next Thursday. What a hassle..What a waste of time..And if I hadnt followed up where would I be? I love my furniture but I hated this experience. I will never deal with the Catonsville MD Ashley furniture again. I even opened an Ashley furniture credit card but seriously doubt I will ever use it. I just want to pay this off and be done with Ashley Furniture. I could never recommend them for anything else.

Apologize...take something off my bill...I dont know what you can do to make this right
