The second-largest bank in the US by assets (behind Citigroup), Bank of America boasts the country's most extensive branch network, with more than 5,700 locations covering some 30 states from coast to coast. Its core services include consumer and small business banking, credit cards, investment banking and brokerage, and asset management. In 2007 Bank of America bought U.S. Trust from Charles Schwab for more than $3 billion and acquired Chicago-based LaSalle Bank from Netherlands-based ABN AMRO for some $21 billion. Also that year the company made a $2 billion investment in Countrywide Financial, and in early 2008 agreed to buy the troubled company for some $4 billion in stock. |

I was very satisfied with the service of Bank of America until BOA decided to take various actions that I find were not justified. The actions enumerated in this letter that BOA has taken against a good customer have left me no other choose than to discuss those action with Senator office.
I am please, requesting the reasons why a customer like myself with a good...

My contractor is looking for his first disbursement and they have a voicemail on the phone that does not allow you to connect to a human being and ends with "please try back later." i called all day yesterday and so far today, this voicemail is on the line. We have been loyal B of A customers for almost 10 years now.
We recently refinanced our home mortgage (a Bank of America loan to a new Bank of America loan), we always sign up for automatic payments of our very important bills (mortgage being one of these), our old loan was paid off in full at the end of September. We were told that, obviously, we would not need to pay our usual mortgage...
