Customer Service Reps -- Liars All!

I received a new debit card on August 13, 2011, apparently resulting from some compromised information. I activated the card on August 15, 2011. On August 17, 2011 I called to request the prior background on my card (college sorority). I was given the number to 'Affinity' to call and request the card.
I then called Affinity and was told it would not be a problem. The idiot customer service rep on the other end FAILED to tell me that he was cancelling the card I had just activated. He stated my new card would be there within five business days. I later found out the card was coming from Arizona to California.
I called Bank of America again numerous times starting on August 23rd trying to find out where my debit card was. I explained that I cannot purchase anything online (which is, by the way, how I found out the newly activated card was cancelled), buy gas, etc. I was told by an extremely rude customer service rep to go to the bank and get some cash! I explained that this was an inconvenience, but she said that was all she could offer.
I called again on August 25th and spoke to someone by the name of 'Roger' or 'Ron' about my predicament, giving B of A one more chance to rectify the situation. He said he was sorry, that he understood and that he would OVERNIGHT for Saturday delivery no later than noon. I explained that I was moving on that day, but he promised it would be there.
Guess what? He lied! No card came. I called today, Monday August 29th and was told that nothing of the sort had been done. Fool me once, shame on you -- fool me twice, shame on me.
I have been a customer of Bank of America since 1995 and this is how I am treated. I am not a multi-millionaire -- just a common person. This is exactly how my husband and I were treated by Wells Fargo bank when they foreclosed on our home last year by being treated so horribly.
Needless to say, I am in the process of closing my account and have moved my business elsewhere!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK B OF A AND YOU WON'T HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS!
At this point -- for me -- nothing. I don't care to ever deal with them again. I will be sure to bad mouth them just like I do Wells Fargo Bank. Keep your snotty-ass comments and idiotic customer service representatives. Local banking is much more relaxing and stress free!
As far as I am concerned, its too bad Warren Buffet just infused the capital he did -- I personally wish Bank of America would fail as a bank! It couldn't happen to a better group of individuals!
