Credit due me

I have a $200 credit on a closed credit card account. I had had automatic payments set up but didn't cancel them in time so the payment went through and I now have a credit. (This happened before because I assumed when I closed that card auto payments would stop but they didn't. When I requested a check at that time - in March - it was sent in a timely manner). I requested a check for the amount in April but apparently it was never processed. Then I asked again. They said a request was put through on May 15. Then they also sent me a copy of someone else's canceled check in response to my inquiry as to what happened to the original check I requested in April. Now when I ask where my check is, I I'm told that the "executive offices are looking into the case" and I have to be patient. Really? That's my money and B of A has done nothing but make mistake after mistake. For a company so concerned with protecting its customers from fraud, its sure doing a good job of cheating me.

I would like a check sent to me immediately for MY $200. Whatever mistakes have been made, they are not mine.

Wow. Huge mistakes on their part, especially sending someone else's
canceled check to you.

Have you actually gone to the bank? I think that's what you need to
do.
