I purchased three blackberry pearls from at&t' website and have had nothing but problems out of all three!!! Two of the three had to be replaced and now I need to have the third one replaced but at&t said that because it is not in the "warranty" they WILL NOT help me out! I am not wanting anything free I just want what I have paid for to accually work! When I bought these Blackberry's they were referbished and did not tell me that it only had a 90 day warrant. I think that if these people want to put thier "good" on these phones (and yes thier name and symbol is on the phone) would make sure that these phones will continue to work. I don't understand that they will give the new phone a 1 year warranty and give the referbished phone only a 3 month warranty. I think that they should support them just like they do the new ones. So I basically have a very expensive paperwait. I have tried contacting Blackberry but the want to charge me $50 to try to help me fix my phone but the say that it might not work. Why should I pay to fix someone elses defect! There wasn't anything done to the phone, it worked fine one day then said that it needed to be recharged, when put on charge the phone started to blink the red light. I have tried to use blackberry's program to "fix" the problem but it will not work. As I have stated before I am not trying to get anything for free, but I would like to have a phone that works that is why I bought it!!! If I had known that it would have been this much of a headache I would never have bought this phone or used Bellsouth's service. I can assure anyone who reads this phone that I am very stongly debating leaving Bellsouth and going somewhere else! I don't think that I will recommending Bellsouth to anyone anytime soon!

At least want to try to fix this phone seeing as I have done nothing wrong to this phone. It just doesn't work!
Thank you very much!!!!!

Did they not tell you they were refurbs? I hope you got them for a
cheaper price than new ones.

Short warranties of refurbs is standard, even if you don't think it
makes sense. That's why a refurb costs less. Or, at least, it
should.

I went to the attwireless site and you get to pick if you want a
refurb phone or not.
