Bad customer service!!

To Whom It May Concern:
I had recently applied for a loan and in the process was notified of an item on my credit report that I should look into as it was affecting my score. Upon further investigation I discovered that your company had reported to both Experian and TransUnion that my HSBC/BSBUY account #XXXXXXXXXXXX was delinquent over 120 days and in collections for the amount of $358.00.
The account was opened in 2001 at a Best Buy store in Alpharetta, GA. It was a "Same as Cash" account meaning no interest or payments for 6 months. Due to a clerical error an incorrect address and blank phone number was filed with my account. This has since been confirmed by your customer service representative with the store. It was only when making another purchase using this account that I was informed of the balance owed. Unfortunately by that time the account was already in a past due status. I immediately made payment to bring the total balance to $0.00.
I then called Customer Service to learn how this account had become late and why I was never informed of its status via a statement or phone call. Together we determined that my contact information including address and phone number were both incorrect. I requested to speak to a supervisor who assured me that the situation would be corrected and this incident would not affect my credit score.
This issue supposedly having been resolved apparently has not, as it is affecting my credit score and disqualifying me for a loan I should have received. I have done everything in my power to resolve this to both parties' satisfaction yet I find myself seriously inconvenienced by Customer Service's failure to remedy this problem.
Remove this bad tradeline from my credit score imeadiately.
