Fees wrongly charged and ignored
by Vernon D. of Buffalo, New York written to Blockbuster, Inc. Posted Mon September 21, 2009 7:16 am

I have been a Blockbuster customer for years and had my share of late returns, I rented two DVD's and returned them in the alloted time not trusting the drop box I always bring them in the store for check in at the counter. Later in the week I notice a charge on my checking account for the cost of a DVD from Blockbusters, when I called the store he remembered me bringing them in and explained one...

I Do Not Want to Pay for Stolen Tapes, Blockbuster
by Dani S. of Davie, Florida written to Blockbuster, Inc. Posted Mon June 8, 2009 12:00 pm

On 5/31/09, my car was broken into and my purse was stolen along with 2 blockbuster tapes. On 6/5/09, I went into the Davie, FL blockbuster store to explain the incident to the manger. I also have a police report stating my stolen items. The manager explained to me that I would have to pay roughly $22 for each tape despite my police report. I was told by her that "due to the economy and everyone...

I went to the Blockbuster in DeLand, Florida and the employee was extremely rude. He insisted that my husband owed $1.06 for a late fee which is not true. He refused to believe that we returned the movies on time and said that my husband was the only one to ever say anything about false late fees. If he had not been so belligerent, we would have paid the fee, paid for our rental and left. ...

by Vicki R. of Memphis, Michigan written to Blockbuster, Inc. Posted Thu March 5, 2009 5:25 am

Since October, I have had Blockbuster Total Access Premium. I get 3 movies at a time with unlimited rentals and unlimited in-store exchanges. The reasoning for me to join this plan is because I live in a very rural area, where I don't even get tv signals. It's cheaper for me to rent these movies than it is for me to have satellite, and cable is not available to me. So I would get three movies in...
