I have been a Blockbuster customer for years and had my share of late returns, I rented two DVD's and returned them in the alloted time not trusting the drop box I always bring them in the store for check in at the counter. On 5/31/09, my car was broken into and my purse was stolen along with 2 blockbuster tapes. On 6/5/09, I went into the Davie, FL blockbuster store to explain the incident to the manger. I also have a police report stating my stolen items. The manager explained to me that I would have to pay roughly $22 for each tape despite my police report. I went to the Blockbuster in DeLand, Florida and the employee was extremely rude. He insisted that my husband owed $1.06 for a late fee which is not true. He refused to believe that we returned the movies on time and said that my husband was the only one to ever say anything about false late fees. If he had not been so belligerent, we would have paid the fee, paid for our rental and left. ...

Since October, I have had Blockbuster Total Access Premium. I get 3 movies at a time with unlimited rentals and unlimited in-store exchanges. The reasoning for me to join this plan is because I live in a very rural area, where I don't even get tv signals. It's cheaper for me to rent these movies than it is for me to have satellite, and cable is not available to me. So I would get three movies in...

I went into a blockbuster in vandaila ohio and asked about a movie called teeth, they said they could sell me it but i will have to pay more because its a rental. I said ok and then bought I beleve 5 movies plus teeth. Many days later was called about the movie teeth, it was late and i would be charged even though i was told i bought it out right by renting it then paying for it in full.
