I am writing in regards to your online site, Blockbuster Total Access. Because I was fed up with the long waiting times for Netflix to get newer movies out, and the one movie I had waited for since last year, just continued to sit on the wait list, I decided to try your company. The website listed "Les Pact De Loups" as available, and since it was the movie I had been waiting on for over a year, I was more than happy to sign up, put it to the top of my list, and wait for it to arrive. It turns out I would have been waiting a long time. I received alert emails letting me know that 3 other movies from much further down in my list had been shipped. I emailed customer support to find out why my main movie hadnt been shipped, and I received a response that explained that the movie was not in fact available, and its ship date was unknown. When I went back to my list to see where the movie was listed, I found that it had been removed and relisted as unavailable with an unknown ship date. I feel that movies are deceptively listed as available to lure people in. I do not appreciate your bait and switch tactics, and I intend to let others know that you engage in such practices.I am also not pleased with your shipping time. Netflix had the movies here within a day from Phoenix. There is a Blockbuster here in town, yet, no movies today.
Accurately list the status of movies, and dont try to change peoples lists after the fact to cover up your mistakes.

Rental issues aside, the movie was okay. I wasn't blown away.

I had the same issue. My husband wanted "fear and loathing in Las Vegas" which is a fairly old movie....not a new release or anything. When I put it in my que as number 1, it was ready to go...available to ship. Looked at it again the next day and it's unavailable. Then the next day it is available with a "long wait". So I think they list every movie known to man, then if they don't actually own it when you put it in your que, they go and buy it. Then ship it.

I also belong to Blockbuster online.
First of all, they don't ship movies from your local Blockbuster store; they get shipped from another location. You can, however, return online movies to your local Blockbuster.
Second, just because you put a movie at the top of your list doesn't mean you'll get it first. It depends on availability, how many people requested it before you, etc.
As for the listing of the title as unavailable, you must have misunderstood. I just signed into my Blockbuster account and looked up "Brotherhood of the Wolf." Nowhere in the description was it listed as available, and when I saved it to my queue, it immediately came up as unavailable.
So, sorry, but I don't see this as "bait and switch."

Yeah, I know. But I work full-time, go to school full-time and I have 4 kids, so driving through Flagstaff traffic, because the store is 12 miles away across town, is a huge pain in the butt. I had though this would be a conveniance, but its been a letdown. Les Pact is really hard to find. I have looked at several websites for it and havent had any luck. I dont really want to buy it until I know I like it. I dont care much for network tv, so movies are a big treat...most of the time. Thank you for your response, and if you saw it, was it any good?

Brotherhood has been out for...several years now. That's really strange that it would be unavailable like that. Just goes to show, though, that sometimes it really is easier to simply go down ot the store and buy/rent it yourself, instead of waiting for one of the video services.
