Great time at PPP!

Posted Mon July 28, 2008 1:00 am, by Sio L.

I wanted to inform you of my experience at your Pharr,TX location on Cage Road. We had reservations for my son's 8th birthday party today, which consisted of 20 children and 40 adults. The party started at 6:30 pm and the host we were given was named Micheal.

Micheal informed me that this would be his first time hosting such a large group, but he would try his best. It has been years since I have thrown a large party, and I had no idea what I was doing. I went from nervous to full blown freaking out when people started coming in. Micheal quickly put me at ease. He was quick to bring pitchers of coke, and kept us stocked on everything we needed. Constantly asking me if there was anything I needed from him. He never went more then a couple of minutes away from our group unless it was to bring us something. He was incredibly polite also, which is rare these days. I could go on and on about why he was an amazing host, but that would make for a very long letter.

My son had a great party, and because of Micheal, I was also able to enjoy it. Please let him know that customers appreciate how thoughtful he is. Next year, Peter Piper Pizza will be our first choice, and you have Micheal to thank for that. I will definitely be telling everyone that will listen about my experience with your restaurant.

First, I'm impressed that you were brave enough to have a party for 20
kids and 40 adults.

Next, I'm impressed that you and your guests focused on what Micheal
did right, because I know there had to be a few glitches along the
way, any one of which could have been blown up into an international
incident.

And third, I'm impressed at the really nice letter you wrote to
Micheal's employer. I bet this will make his day.

But I will quibble with you on one thing: your son had a great party
not only because of Micheal, but also to some extent because he is
being raised to see the good in things.
