I am writing about your store located in Elberton, Georgia. On the afternoon of Saturday, June 23 at around 1:30pm my family decided to go to your restraunt and eat lunch.
My family has never been to this particular location before, having just moved to the area from Indiana. We went in and gave our order, which was kind of large, having 4 people in the family that ordered. After giving and paying for the order, I took my 2 children and proceeded to a table. Almost every table in the restraunt was dirty, and there were only 1 other couple that was eating inside. I went to the ice machine with some napkins, wet them, and cleaned off a corner table. I sat my children down and noticed there were about 15 dead flies in the window sill, and more flying around. That was the first thing that went wrong.
As I said, it was kind of a big order we placed, so we didn't mind waiting a few minutes for our food. 15 minutes is a little too long though. Finally, my husband brought the food to the table, and in one of my sons kids meal, there were no fries. I went up there and told them, and they gave me another fry. By the time I got back to the table, my husband then stated that my other sons kid meal which was the chicken tenders (4piece), only had 3 in the box. He is 2, so I didn't worry about it, for he probably wouldn't have eaten all of them plus his fries anyways.
My 2 yr old dropped a fry on the floor, and as I bent down to get it up with a napkin, there were approximately 5 dead flies right
there under our feet. I was so mad I just didn't even want to eat.
I think that this restraunt should be made to clean the dining room a lot more often. I have never ate at a restraunt so nasty and dirty before. I could understand that it was right after lunch when we visited, and maybe they had not had time to go clean yet, maybe that was why the tables were all dirty. BUT. We were there appoximately 45 minutes and they were not busy at all and nobody was out cleaning.
As for the flies...that is just nasty. I could understand the unclean tables right after a lunch rush, but with as many flies that were accumulated, they had been there without being cleaned for awhile. I think that if the health department would have came in at that time, they would have closed the restraunt for good!
