Burger King is the bomb

I recently went to the Burger King on 41A here in Hopkinsville KY, store #3666. I had my three sons with me, ages 8, 4 and 20 months. The cashier was very nice and the manager brought our meal out to us himself and even brought a highchair for my little one.
This Burger King is very clean when I visit there. There is always someone cleaning the tables, seats, drink areas, counters, etc.
I ordered a Quad Stacker and asked for a tomato, which was forgotten. I went up and Sam, the manager, apologized and gave me the tomatoes, plus some pickles and lettuce. He even took back the toy and gave my son his choice of the under three toys.
I am very impressed by this restaraunt and will return often, my daughter loves the Quad Stacker. I would like Sam, and the other employees, to receive some sort of recognition for there excellent service, great attitudes, and helpfulness.

I just got a response back from Burger King. They sent me a letter and wanted to thank me for the response and they will forward my comments on to the appropriate management team.

It sounds like you have a great BK there. Lucky you. While I've never had problems with McDonalds or Wendys in my area, BK is another story.
Sadly, BK will not be reviewing your letter. They, along with McDonalds, have followed a path that I personally do not approve of. BK is even more strict than McDonalds. They do not accept emailed correspondence and they do not accept feedback from a 3rd party. I say that I disapprove because I think that a responsible company would accept feedback from consumers in any manner they could receive it. But that is just me, and what do I know.
If you would truly like "Sam and the other employees" to receive recognition, please print your letter and mail said letter directly to the BK home office. You can find their contact info on their website, BK.com. I would also cc: the local restaurant so that Sam and the others know their job performance is well-appreciated. Customer appreciation, I'm betting, means a lot to them.
I once said thank you and please to a fastfood employee at the drive-thru window and her whole face lit up and I saw her desperate gratitude at being acknowledged and treated like a human. She was shocked someone was being so nice to her. That moment was an ephinay for me in regards to how badly FF employees are treated....
