I bank with Capital One...
Why does Capital One use such a controversial spokesman like Alec Baldwin to represent them.

This guy throws temper tantrums on airplanes, curses out his daughter and is not liked by many.

Cancel his commercials and find a less offensive person to reprsent your company.

Capital One:

Please do NOT cancel Alec Baldwin's contract.

I am a fan of his and I would view your company unfavorably if you
cancelled his contract.

If you want to cancel someone's contract, cancel Jimmy Fallon's. He's
NOT funny at ALL and he's an idiot too.

Plus, he stood up for Michelle Bachmann, who is an evil, immoral
woman, who doesn't stand a chance in the world of ever getting the GOP
nomination, much less ever being President of the USA.

I like him as a 'spokesperson'

Does a company spokesperson really have any impact on your business?

Is it Alec answering the phone in customer service? Does he process
your card payments? Does he approve your credit limit increases Then
what is the big deal???

He's an idiot, yeah, but he got your attention, so, objective met.

Honestly, not even worth the effort!

He also IS liked by many. He's hilarious, very smart, loves classical
music, 30 ROck is a brilliant show.

Don't like him? Don't watch him.

Maybe they should also have Stephen Baldwin in the commercials. This
might even it out since they seem to be pretty opposite politically
and religiously.

Oh please! by MA Bellamy Wed December 21, 2011 @ 3:10 PM

I personally cant stand him, but then again I dont like most

This is why I record every show I am watching so I can fast forward
through all the commercials.

I dont think I have watched a commercial in over a year unless I just
left the TV on and running. Even if a show comes on I want to see, I
start recording it, go do something for 30 minutes then come back and
watch it and fast forward through commercials.

Rick G.,

There is no question that the guy is a tad over the top.

They could have a monkey do that commercial as far as I am concerned
because if somebody is making a financial decision based on what he
says to do they have more problems than they might care to admit.

like him. You can't please all of the people, all of the time.
