someone elses bill

I called in on Saturday, August 4th, 2007, to dispute some unusual charges on my newest bill. Come to find out that it is due to the lady that lived here before I am being charged over $109 for a bill that she did not pay. So okay I leave my complaint with the supervisor and am told that I will be credited.
So as per the note on your website I go back and look 72 hours later, actually longer than 72 hours since I called on Saturday I took a look again today Wednesday, and wouldn't you know I am not credit anything!
I have again called to dispute these charges and find out that this time they give me the ladies name that lived here before me (not that I care what her name is, the point is she didn't pay her bill and now I am having to deal with it) and am told that the billing department kicked it back.
So now I am having to spend even more time on the phone to get this situation dealt with. My new ref. # is: , and the reason I am writing is in hopes that by writing you, again, you will make sure that this credit sticks to my account. I have always paid my bills on time with your company and now I feel as if I am being hung out to dry and that your customer represenitives do not give a hoot-in-holler about any of the customers.

Send all your customer reps to a school to teach them some manners, and also teach the billing department to do its job.

I hate it when they bill for the address and not the actual person.
The woman should have updated her address when she left.

I would call them again, see if you can be online while they say they
are crediting you. You may be able to watch it go into effect while
still on the phone,(printing a copy immediately) and avoiding hanging
up and having them get busy on another line to forget. Sounds to me
like that is what may have happened.

If it still isn't resolved, write another letter but omit the last
sentence about teaching them manners that you wrote in this letter.

Keep us posted on what happens! Good luck :)
