This not only applies to Charter Communictions, but SEVERAL companies throughout the United States. They have taken away HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of jobs from the citizens of the US, and outsourced them to India, Egypt, and Heaven only knows where, just to save a few bucks. Not only do you have to call and wait on hold for long periods of time to try to get a problem resolved, you have to talk to someone who barely understands English, much less the reality of your problem. They top it off by having OUR jobs , that should be kept in OUR country. No wonder our unemployment is so high and economy is so terrible!

BRING ALL JOBS BACK TO THE US !! THERE ARE THOSE OF US UNEMPLOYED THAT WOULD LOVE TO WORK AND WOULD DO A GOOD JOB!!!

Like it or not, we are more than ever aubject to the influences of a
global economy.

I was in engineering in 1997. We had people in Singapore editing
schematics, and sending them electronically back to the US. I can
only assume this sort of thing is more common today.

I agree that when the job is customer service, it is much less than
desireable to be speaking with someone who can't understand English.

However, there is no way to "bring all jobs back to the US;" that
train has left the station for good. We simply have to adapt, and
create new job opportunities. But, we shouldn't have to adapt our
language to get customer service.
