PlanetFeedback Assessment
Here is a review of this company provided by PlanetFeedback.
JPMorgan Chase was born with a silver spoon in its mouth but hasn't let that stop it. The #3 financial services firm in the US (behind Citigroup and Bank of America) expanded nationwide with the acquisition of BANK ONE and now has some 3,000 branches and growing. The bank is keen on its retail operations and is also among the nation's top mortgage lenders, automobile loan writers, and credit card issuers. Formed in 2001 by the blockbuster merger of retail banking behemoth Chase Manhattan and venerable investment bank J.P. Morgan, JPMorgan Chase boasts formidable investment banking and asset management operations as well. Wunderkind BANK ONE chief Jamie Dimon took the reins of JPMorgan Chase at the end of 2005.

Medical Injury - Paid off Credit Card - Help me with removing late payments
by Grady P. of Sherman Oaks, California written to Chase Bank Posted Sun September 28, 2014 2:49 pm

Around 2.5 - 3 years ago I was injured, hospitalized and almost died. I was in the hospital for 17 days and wasn't able to walk (or work) for around 4 months.

During that time, I incurred medical bills and didn't have any income to pay them. So, I accrued some late payments on a Credit Card issued by Chase.

After recovering and getting back on my feet, (no pun intended) I have started...

I suffered delinquent payments when I was a struggling out-of-school, part-time worker on my Chase Student Loan accounts. Repeatedly, I asked Chase to help defer payments and was denied every time. After I returned to school to further improve they still denied me a deferment. Now, I asked if they would consider a goodwill adjustment and get a no, plus a negative statement/remark just for the...

Unwarranted credit line decrease

I am preparing to purchase a new home and have been trying to pay down the balances on my credit cards. I made a $1200. payment to my Chase Freedom credit card last week. When I went to check my account online this morning, I noticed that Chase had decreased my credit limit by $1100 and didn't even bother to notify me of the action taken. I have never been late nor missed a single payment and...

Today I received a letter from Jennifer Myhre, Senior Vice President, Chase Consumer and Community Banking stating that my second ATM card for my checking account which I use regularly will be closed "for my protection" since your bank will now allow only one ATM card per person on a deposit account.

When I called the number on the back of my card to request that each of my 2 ATM...

Iím sorry to bother you with my frustrations, but I am deeply disturbed by your current business practice. I am a disabled person, currently residing in an assisted living facility, and I receive $30 a month, directly deposited from the Social Security Administration. Before I grew sick and moved out of state, I was not aware of any checking account fees. For the last few years, you have been...
