JPMorgan Chase was born with a silver spoon in its mouth but hasn't let that stop it. The #3 financial services firm in the US (behind Citigroup and Bank of America) expanded nationwide with the acquisition of BANK ONE and now has some 3,000 branches and growing. The bank is keen on its retail operations and is also among the nation's top mortgage lenders, automobile loan writers, and credit card issuers. Formed in 2001 by the blockbuster merger of retail banking behemoth Chase Manhattan and venerable investment bank J.P. Morgan, JPMorgan Chase boasts formidable investment banking and asset management operations as well. Wunderkind BANK ONE chief Jamie Dimon took the reins of JPMorgan Chase at the end of 2005. |

On my Chase Circuit City card I made a substantial purchase at a promo rate. I have paid 70% - double of the minimum payment due, ON TIME, for EVERY statement I have received.
On my last statement, with approx. $100 left to pay, a "late" fee of $35 had been assessed. I have NEVER MADE A LATE PAYMENT on this account! Tonight I called to correct this error at your CS center & was...

Because of the way I was treated by a member of your management staff and his unwillingness to work with me on the issue I brought to his attention, I am filing an administrative remedy against you for the amount of the credit you have given me that I funded myself. It's been a pleasure doing business with you.

I have a charge off that I paid in full. I have worked very hard to pay this debt in full and did not settle the account for a lower payment because I felt very obligated to pay my debt. I was hoping by paying my debt my efforts would be reflected on my credit report, but instead it still showed as a charge off. Is there any way to have the paid charge off changed to show the account as paid. I...

I have a Chase Circuit City Credit Card. I purchased something in April 2008 on a deferred interest plan. I needed to make a monthly payment of around $25.00. My plan was to pay the amount in full in Feb. 2009.
In August, I changed banks and inadvertently did not put this account on my monthly electronic bill pay. When I received my statement from Chase, I saw that an electronic payment...

In August I went over my "limit" with Chase by a couple dollars because of a finance charge they imposed. They realized it was a negligable overage and refunded my $39 fee in September. In the mail I received a nice letter of apology and a few days later an postcard stating the refund had been applied. In October, I received another letter saying that Chase had ignored the overlimit fee...
