Reservations not honored.

Made reservations at the Oakbrook Terrace Comfort Suites, upon arrival was informed that the room we had booked was given to another guest, Tried to give us a Roman theme room at what they called a lesser price but it was the same price as it was listed on line. So how is that a discount and it is not the room we booked. When calling the booking line was told that it was past the cancelation time, nothing about them not honoring the reservation that was booked.

1st. I would like them to correct the website with the right pictures.
2nd, I would like a certificate for a different property, because I will never give the property at Oakbrook Terrace, on Roosevelt Road in Chicago again. I will stay at other properties though. Thank you

Re: Reservations not honored. by Donno Posted Tue June 15, 2010 @ 8:43 AM It sounds like they replaced a romm with another of the same price (though they said it was being offered at a discount). Maybe I don't understand this "theme" issue or the importance of getting a specific room, because the replacement room was of the same value as the one you had booked. I don't see what you lost.
