I would like to inform Cici's corporate that the management that is assigned to run the franchise for the Hampton Roads area for the state of Virginia is an extremely rude and inconsiderate ragtag bunch that has no concept of customer service and food service in the industry in general. I have been employed at Cici's and very much wanted to pursue a career in upper management but I've long given up this dream after bearing witness to the insufferable negligence and outright rudeness of your management and franchise owners.
The internet is completely filled up with Cici's restaurants receiving 1 star reviews of customers leaving the stores in the area extremely unsatisfied and vowing never to return. I have recently returned to this area to find that ANOTHER store has closed (Chesapeake). had no problem pinning up a sign on the front glass saying how it was "proudly managed by him" and yet the space is empty. He also had an out of state phone number posted on the sign for customers to call him but it lead to a dead line and wasn't his actual cell phone number. Corporate needs to know and understand that all the ingredients to make good food have been provided. I should know because I've seen them and used them! The business is here and money is to be made. But the rude, incompetent and belligerent condescending management you have assigned here is destroying your business.
How much more restaurants have to close down before you realize that these people are horrible and that they are squandering a fortune due to their own selfishness and stupidity?
Fire every one of them or give me a reason as to why you want to them to continue running this circus show and losing your customer base to other competing restaurants who CARE about serving fresh food and providing good customer service. Realize that I am a hard working employee with a literally burning passion to provide an unbeatable experience to customers but I and many others are held back by managers who care about nothing but their bonus at the end of the month. They have no qualms whatsoever in making the restaurants themselves SUFFER by keeping labor down next to nothing in a crowded restaurant.

With all due respect it just doesn't have anything to do with bettering myself. I have a passion for the industry and it is abrasive to the eyes and ears to watch what was once a booming franchise for this location fall apart for all the wrong reasons. It's not really about my own betterment, it's the betterment of the company itself. I get the hunch that no one up top has any real clue as to what's really going on because there is no reason why they would willingly allow their restaurants to continue being shut down if they did.
planetfeedback edited my post to remove some names which is fine, but I have proof that these people have literally been stealing money from the company for several years. Yes, in the end corporate does control the grand scheme of things as far as labor costs are concerned but what has everything so screwed up is that the managers are issued a bonus at the end of the month. I have witnessed them literally STARVE the restaurant in order to abuse this "feature". You'd better believe that the only thing that matters to these people at the end of the day is that bonus and they will stop at nothing and I mean nothing to ensure they obtain it. If that's the way the higher ups want it then fine, but I'm fairly confident that's not what they intended and as a manager it is their responsibility to balance these things so that both themselves and corporate come out on top. This, however, is very far from the truth indeed.
I have no fear over losing my privileges to work as consequences for speaking the truth. In my mind it's worth that much in order to ensure that the truth comes out and that this has been going on for a long time. I have witnessed and tolerated first hand the disrespect and blatant abuse of this management, just like they are abusing this business they in actuality care nothing about. I am sick of it and so are the paying customers here who are spending thousands of dollars elsewhere.

We had a CiCi's pizza open a year or two ago in my part of town, and it's closed now. I suspect they expanded too quickly -- poor management, I suspect, at the very top of the company.
