Inappropriate behavior by CNB Staff

Write a Letter to this Company
The staff of the Valencia branch of City National Bank recently made a decision to close our business accounts based on a personal situation.
Our account has been in good standing and we have been a long standing member of the bank. I find it infuriating that an account on a company that has been held for years would be restricted without notifying the signers on the account with a phone call.
Initially when the account was restricted we found out because our debit cards were no longer being accepted for business transactions.
This apparently occurred because my wife and I are separating and I requested that she be removed from the account as she resigned her position with the company. When this happened I sent the letter of resignation to the branch and requested that I be contacted prior to calling her to verify if a call needed to be made. At the time my wife was called directly and I was not able to discuss this with her prior to the call. Your people made this a more difficult process than it needed to be.
When I went into the branch and spoke to the manager about this I was told that the matter could be cleared up if my wife came in and confirmed in person that her name could come off the account and she would no longer be a signer the restrictions would be removed.
After a counseling session with my wife where we discussed the situation she went to the bank and made the request to remove her name from the account I was informed that the account would have 30 days and at that point would be closed by the bank.
I do not understand this unilateral decision, I do not know what harm our company can do to CNB, however in either case I can not believe that your firm would cast a small business aside over a personal situation that was resolved in a professional manner.
I promise to make sure the thousands of people I am connected to on Linked in and Facebook know and are aware that your bank does not act in a professional and reliable way for small businesses.
Extend the 30 day notice to close our account to 90 days.
Refund ALL bank fees charged to the account since the account was opened 4 years ago.
I'm not sure what else you can do to rectify this situation but if you act quickly I won't complain to the regulators.
