Commerce plus broadcasting equals Comcast. The firm's cable division has more than 23 million subscribers and is the largest in the US (well ahead of #2 Time Warner Cable). Comcast Cable brings in 95% of revenues and offers cable TV, Internet, and digital phone services. Comcast also has programming interests such as VERSUS (formerly the Outdoor Life Network), and it has majority stakes in E! Entertainment Television and Comcast SportsNet. It partially owns Philadelphia's pro sports teams, the 76ers and the Flyers. Comcast joined the Sony-led consortium that bought MGM in 2005, investing $300 million. One-third of Comcast is controlled by CEO Brian Roberts, son of founder and former chairman Ralph Roberts. |

My wife and I were in the local electronics store here in Friendswood Texas (outside of Houston Texas) where a Comcast Representative was selling bundling packages. She told us that she could save us at least $50.00 per month over Verizon, with Comcast home phone to bundle with our internet and TV. She talked us into it WITH THE UNDERSTANDING we could keep the same phone number we have now. We...

My friend recently switched all of her services to Comcast. For weeks now shes been on the phone with customer service trying to have caller ID show on her TV. Each person she spoke with said it was all set to go, but it would take 24 hours or 48 hours.Well it never happened.Yesterday she called again, and this time she was told that her cable box didn't have the feature, but she can bring it to...

Improve your equipment record-keeping |

by Carla S. of Albuquerque, New Mexico written to Comcast Corporation Posted Tue January 17, 2012 3:57 pm |

Explain how a company bills you for your own modem--apparently the customer has to provide proof that the modem does not, and never has, belonged to Comcast. You do not maintain any record of your own equipment--model numbers, serial numbers, anything. We canceled our service and should be getting $177 back, but we've been double-billed for the last month and are also being charged $30 for our...
