Commerce plus broadcasting equals Comcast. The firm's cable division has more than 23 million subscribers and is the largest in the US (well ahead of #2 Time Warner Cable). Comcast Cable brings in 95% of revenues and offers cable TV, Internet, and digital phone services. Comcast also has programming interests such as VERSUS (formerly the Outdoor Life Network), and it has majority stakes in E! Entertainment Television and Comcast SportsNet. It partially owns Philadelphia's pro sports teams, the 76ers and the Flyers. Comcast joined the Sony-led consortium that bought MGM in 2005, investing $300 million. One-third of Comcast is controlled by CEO Brian Roberts, son of founder and former chairman Ralph Roberts. |

I received a call from a collection agency telling me I had a bill from comcast. They told me it was sent to them 11/2008 and the original account was closed 8/2008 (I had already moved out before then). I went to comcast after I moved out and paid my account ( I was told it was PAID IN FULL by comcast) I called comcast and they told me they could not tell me anything about the account because it...

Dear Comcast:
Last year I got a HD DVR for my TV. I had Tivo on another TV. I was told the charge was 13.95 a month for the HD DVR. Now it's 15.95. I was paying 12.95 for my Tivo. Recently I decided to get rid of the Tivoand move the HD DVR to the TV that had the Tivo on it, and get a regular HD box for the TV that had the comcast HD DVR, I did this because I was told the charge would be...

I switched to Comcast several months ago when a salesman came to my house. Up to this time, I have had Direct Tv. I am so furious, I do not even know where to begin. I have the voice, internet and Digital cable. I have had 5 techs, 25 hours on the phone, and so much frustration that I tell everyone how much I hate Comcast. I come to my living room to watch the news when I am getting ready in the...

Lisle, IL 60532
To whom it may concern:
I misplaced some digital equipment that was to be returned when my landlord prevented Comcast from providing service to their units and was forced to switch cable providers.
I was unable to pay for the expensive equipment and the last months service and as a result my account was referred to a collection agency. I recently found the...

We had a problem with our Comcast cable and I called the 800 number and after trying a few things and nothing change the associate recomended me to set up a service call. I agreed and that is when things really turned for the better. The next day Miguel (#25-82) showed up at my door and I showed him what had happened he immediately went to work and within about 20 minutes everything was fixed. ...
