Commerce plus broadcasting equals Comcast. The firm's cable division has more than 23 million subscribers and is the largest in the US (well ahead of #2 Time Warner Cable). Comcast Cable brings in 95% of revenues and offers cable TV, Internet, and digital phone services. Comcast also has programming interests such as VERSUS (formerly the Outdoor Life Network), and it has majority stakes in E! Entertainment Television and Comcast SportsNet. It partially owns Philadelphia's pro sports teams, the 76ers and the Flyers. Comcast joined the Sony-led consortium that bought MGM in 2005, investing $300 million. One-third of Comcast is controlled by CEO Brian Roberts, son of founder and former chairman Ralph Roberts. |

Comcast came to my house to install service. The guy saw a HD DVR box in my house and asked whats that. My wife told him that it was a box from another account and that we own it so it stays here(its my sons, who got charged for it after they sent his account to collections; he since then paid it off). Throughout the install which took like 2 hours he some how got his grubby little hands on the...

I have had ongoing Internet concerns for the last 3 months. In September 2009, through email, I contacted Comcastcares. I am an Internet marketing contractor & work from home. We have wireless & 3 working computers. Concerns are: browsers crash several times per day; Smartzone reboots self when trying to write emails while I am writing; to reply or forward an email, I must open &...

This is my second letter of complaint. About a month ago, my cable was cut off by mistake. My neighbor moved out and because the wires were mislabeled, my cable was cutoff instead. It took Comcast 8 days to get it back on.
Well it has happened again. My cable has been out since Saturday, 10/24/09. We had someone move out of our building and we were disconnected instead, again. One positive...

Comcast email is horrible. They are having account issues and not notifying the customers. I have gotten many calls, text messages from people I frequently stay in contact with via email asking 'what's up with your email?'. Like a sucker, I'm like, nothing....
This morning, their email is not working. I don't know when for sure it started. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. ...
