Comcast Imposed Data Caps on Loyal Customers

I have been a Comcast Xfinity customer for about 6 years since I moved to my current area. Recently Comcast decided to put caps on data (despite the fact there is no reason to cap land based data) and notify their long standing customers who had previously had not cap of this "change." My house is unique in that I have my disabled husband and my grown disabled daughter home all day on the internet. Shame on Comcast for treating long standing, loyal, customers this way.

I am switching and would only consider coming back if Comcast offers what they used to offer which is unlimited data and no throttling.

AT & T also has what I would call a cap. You are allowed 150GB of data
for your monthly usage. If you go over this amount, you pay an extra
$10.00 for every 50 GB over. It seems that every 12 months you have to
renegotiate internet prices with many companies. I suggest that you
shop around if you have that option where you live. Unfortunately,
some areas have no option.
