I scheduled for a service tech to come to my residence to connect a tv in my kitchen. The tech come to my house and he was told that the wires can not be ran in the front of the house but they had to come from underneath the house. He didn't have a flashlight and I had to give him one. The Tech was then shown the access point to get underneath and I thought that he ws getting ready to do some work. He then asked for an extention cord and when I went to get the extention cord he proceeded to tell me that he could not do the job becuase of the floor that is in the kitchen. He did not offer any additional suggestions. I called COMCAST and requested to speak to a supv. It took a day and a half for one to call me back. When he called I explained that I was dissatisfied with their tech and that I needed someone to come to my house to connect my cable. I also told them that they needed to speak with my spouse before they came back to the house. It took another 36 hours before someone called and spoke to my husband to then tell him that they will call him back with additional information. The report form the tech stated that the customer changed her mind about having service connected in the kitchen. We are still waiting on that phone call. I have tried calling customer service on numerous occassions and have spoken with customer service supervisiors who tell me that they can not pick up the phone and call to speak to someone in a different department(dispatch) they have to send and email and then wait for their response. It is unprofessional that a company as large as Comcast can not respond to the local consumer. My cable has been out of wack and my internet is slow. My cable boxes are outdated and when I requested new boxes to be brought out when the tech came COMCAST was going to charge me a fee.
I would like COMCAST to replace my boxes, increase the speed on my internet and get my tv in the kitchen wired for cable before the digital change. Furthermore, for all of the inconvience we has suffered I would like to be upgraded to digital for the price that I am paying now. If the upgrade is not posible then perhaps dvr boxes can be provided for no addtional charge to me.
