Glow In The Dark Paint And Service Don't Glow

Posted Mon April 16, 2012 12:00 pm, by Linda C. written to CoolGlow.com

I ordered 2 tubes of Glow in the Dark paint fom this company only to find out that the 6 to 8 hour glow time is actually about 30 to 45 min.

I tried online chat-- that was a joke and 28 min of my day .. Then called the 888 number and spent about another 25 min , trying to get a refund .. The actually asked if I put the paint in the sun..OMG-- I may be old ,but I am not stupid!!

I "painred" a couple of glass jars and the steps to the camper and the glow does not last. Yes, they both sat in the sun all day ..

I was told a supervisior would call me back- That never happened.

I paid $16.32 for this garbage and would like a full refund . I am on a fixed income and this was a pricey purchase for me .

I wrote this same letter earlier and think I used my old email address, so I am doing this again. Maybe I really am stupid

I would like a FULL refund.
Including what i paid for shipping

Total $16.32

stick on strips of tape? Even in moonlight, they are still quite
discernible.

and those solars last a while - in the spring/summer mine are still glowing in the morning by PepperElf Wed April 18, 2012 @ 12:28 PM

To be honest - I'm not familiar with any glow-in-the-dark product that
glows for 6 hours. Except for that stuff that Luminox uses that glows
for 25 years.

I mean sure I've seen glow paint and glow tape - we used them in the
Navy to mark exits for emergencies. But they both fade after a couple
of hours in the dark.

My own advice - if you want to have your camper steps glowing in the
dark for safety, use either glow-tape or solar lights. (the solar
lights will of course last much longer - 6-8 hours unless it's been
dark with rain all day long).

or both.

In fact solar lights can work in jars too. I put solar lights into a
glass lantern to make it look like i have a "jar of stars" at night.

I wonder if you could buy things that people use to decorate kids'
rooms, like the glow-in-the-dark stars -- those sorts of things -- and
superglue them to the steps to your camper to guide your way in the
dark.
