I was looking for a kitchen cart to update my kitchen, to get ready for a party. April 19th I e-mailed csnstores (Ebay) to find out if a unit was in stock, because it did not state in the auction they were a drop shipper. Advised yes it was in stock and takes 24-72 hours to ship. Paid for item on 4/21/06 (party was on 5/13/06 that I needed the cart for.) On 4/28/06 I called their 800 number to find out why it still has not shipped out. I was advised they needed to call the mfg to find out what happened to the order. Advised that they would call me back. No one did. I called back the next day and got the same answer. Someone would call me back. No one did. I called the 3rd day (had order now for 9 days) and was advised "Glitch in system" and the factory never received my order. advised that it will ship out on 5/5/06 the latest. I told them that I had asked about avail before I ordered, and needed it for a party on 5/13/06. I was advised that It would ship on 5/5/06, and it would take 3-4 days ups ground to get to me. Order finally shipped on 5/9/06, however UPS did not get the item until 5/11/06. Received item on Monday 5/15/06. I called and spoke to a manager, and offered me his apologies, and said item was on backorder. This is the first time I was advised of this. Up into this point I was told it was in a "glitch" in their system of not processing the order to the mfg. He offered me 20% off my next order. Why should I give them business when they held my order from UPS for 2 days, and missing the date that I needed the item.
I would like for the manager to offer me a % off this order for the miscommunications with their staff, and to get this to UPS in a timely manner.
Item Cost 219.00
Refund 43.80 to my pay pal account.
