CVS Continuing Customer ripoff

The last three times that i have been at Cvs have been an expierence. I buy something that is on sale, and the regular price rings up. I have seen the bad disposition of the clerks when I show them the discounted price at the display. Last night i went to purchase 2 items at 50% off due to summer season ends. I got to the register and sure enough it rung up at the regular price. I had to spend another 10 minutes to show the lady the multiple 50% off signs. The difference was over $15.00. I am tired of getting ripped off by CVS. Your company people should be put in jail for stealing from customers. This does not happen at the same store. it happens at 2 different ones.

Do any audit to see how much you steal from the customers a year by not having the computers set to ring up the correct price.

How are you getting ripped off? You point out the sale signs and get
the sale price.

It rang up incorrectly; you pointed out the error and it was duly
corrected. You, therefore, paid the sale price.

Explain to me, please, how that is "stealing".

CVS, incidentally, usually only honors sales prices if you have a CVS
card.

"Your company people should be put in jail for stealing from
customers"

Now really. I understand your frustration, but I think requesting
jail-time for the offenders is a bit much.

When a store such as CVS puts 50% tags up, more than likely, it's due
to a "clearance batch" where a large number of items are reduced.
Unfortunately, a lot of stores have a hard time seperating the items
that are 50% off and those that aren't.

You have to have a CVS Customer Care Card or you will not get the sale
price. It is just like those grocery store MVP cards and the like. I
am surprised that no one ever told you that before.
