Allegra-D recall at CVS???

Why was Allegra-D 24 hour tablets not allowed to be sold, and taken off the pharmacy shelves? I asked pharmacy staff what was going on, and they replied that it was due to an internal recall of all Allegra-D products and the generic versions of this medication as well. When the employee scanned a box of ten tabs of Allegra-D the employee said "the register is coming back with a 'Not for Sale' direction for staff. So what is wrong with the Allegra-D products? Why can consumers not bye it anymore? Is this only at CVS, or is it part of a larger problem? Sincerely, Michael

CVS will put that message on the registers in local areas when there
has been a tampering incident. Likely someone reported that their
Allegra-D had been tampered with and, until the investigation is
completed, CVS will shut down sales of the product in a certain radius
from the store to prevent any other issues from potentially arising.
They are actually trying to protect you.

Its recalled but you still want to buy it? If it was recalled it was
recalled for a reason.
