My 2 year old grandson needed prescriptions filled. He'd been sick, the doctor prescribed medecine, my wife dropped the prescriptions at the local CVS, at about 3:30 pm. She went back at 6 pm, and they weren't filled.
The pharmacy had LOST the prescriptions! Then they made my wife stand around for 50 minutes, never told her anything..except they were lost!
Hey..it's for a baby..no big deal, that's the CVS motto. Nothing..just let her stand around..and wait. They lost them..they didn't care. Finally...she got somebody to call the doctor who gave the prescriptions again.
This was not the first time we'd had prescriptions filled there, but it will probably be the last.
Thankfully, a Walgreens just opened here a few months ago. My daughter has already transferred all of hers. I've transferred mine, and now we are going to transfer the babys.
We can't depend on CVS to take care of a baby's prescription.
I'll be sure and tell everyone I can about this.
If this were the first incident of HORRIBLE service from the pharmacy, it would be bad enough. But for us, it will be the last.
I really don't care. I stopped going for myself last year.
What CVS should do is hire some competent employees. How do you "lose" a prescription that was taken to the store, not phoned in?
No excuse!
