The name Dell may be synonymous with "direct," but the computer giant has a more diverse approach to the market these days. The world's #1 direct-sale computer vendor provides a broad range of computer products for the consumer and enterprise markets. In addition to a full line of desktop and notebook PCs, Dell offers network servers, workstations, storage systems, printers, projectors, and Ethernet switches. The company also markets third-party software and peripherals. Dell's growing services unit provides systems integration, support, and training. The company announced plans to begin selling through retail stores in 2007. |

Worst Customer Experience I have ever had |

Dealing with Dell Customer Service is the worst experience I have ever had in my lifetime. Anytime I call for anything, after being handed off to several different area's, and having to reexplain my problem each time, I am forced to hold for well over 45 minutes each time. The customer service representatives are all in the Philippines and do not speak or understand English well at all. I just...

I'm a new customer to Dell. I placed an order on Jan. 25,2010 with an est, delivery date of 02/11-10. Received notification delayed till 02/18/10 with the quote from Dell staing "They were confident of meeting this new date". Then another e-mail for a 3rd delay now stating delivery of 02/25/10. I called their number got transferred 7 different times taking over an hour only to be told...

Consistently poor experience with Dell, from beginning to end |

Dear Dell,
I am writing to let *you* know that *I* know that you are selling crap disguised as computers. The Enter key on my keyboard just broke. It wasn't mistreated, it simply stopped working. This is no surprise at all, as I have had several previous experiences with the shabby quality of this POS. Due to the way I was treated in my first year, I now take every opportunity that arises...

I purchased a Dell Studio 1737 laptop from Dell about 4 months ago. I'm a producer, Studio Engineer, and rapper and I purchased this laptop from Dell to use strictly for Studio work. I'm very Disappointed! My first laptop was a Dell, and it served far beyond it's life expectancy with no issues, so when I was in the market for a new computer I went to Dell first. They let me down majorly. The main...

I purchased an inspiron 9400/e1705 from dell 1 year and 2 months ago. From the beginning it has caused me nothing but pain. When I received it, they did not ship the whole package. It was missing the TV card, and this took several calls to get resolved. After that the battery was dead, and would only last 20 minutes or so. Calling support was nightmare since they said it was fine, and wanted...
