Dell hardware flaw

I bought a Dell Inspiron N4010. One year and two months later the motherboard failed. I started researching this and found many complaints of the same thing. Apparently, this is a hardware flaw.

I want Dell to fix this computer for free. A computer's motherboard should last longer than a little over a year.

I did a search real quick and found one forum with one complaint.

Motherboards are finicky things, some will last 10 years some last 10
minutes. There should be a warranty on the board itself unless its a
proprietary board (which it probably is).

It also depends on whether you have surge protection, did the computer
take a bump and short it out, ws there a storm recently?
