My name is Carlos, and I am an owner of a Dell XPS M1330. My service tag is XXXXXXX and my express service code is XXXXXXXXX. I purchased this system with maxed out options and a 5 year extended warranty contract which amounted to A LOT of money. However, over the years, I've been having a lot of problems with the system. The motherboard was replaced twice due to nvidia chip failure. The hard drive was replaced. The dvdrw drive was replaced. In the past two months, my system would suddenly freeze and shut off. My USB ports would randomly stop working. When I powered on the system, there would be no video. There were issues that I didn't even bother to report to Dell because I got tired of calling. However, as of today, my system no longer powers on. To top it off, I have received notification in the mail of a lawsuit against Nvidia for a flaw in the video chip used in my laptop.
Due to the fact that I have had numerous problems with this laptop and there is no permanent fix because of the nvida video chip failure, I would like to get a refund or a replacement of my laptop to a completely different model. I do not want to get the motherboard swapped again because the same issue will occur again and my warranty may run out by that time. I am extremely unhappy with the reliability of my laptop and I don't want to get the unit fixed so that in a year it will die again.
I look forward to your timely response. My contact number is 201-XXX-XXXX and my email address is XXXXXXXXX@verizon.net.
Thank you.
