not worth the price

I purchased a Esclusivo combination coffee/espresso maker for my husband for Christmas one & a half years ago. The price was over $200.The warming plate died this morning! The Mr Coffee I had was 10 yrs old and still working when I bought this DeLonghi. When I called customer service I was told that warranty is only one yr! Really? I thought I was buying a better built machine of higher quality, the saying: you get what you pay for no longer is true! I am very disappointed and will tell everyone I know not to count on the DeLonghi brand name and not to waste their money.
replace my coffee/espresso machine with a new one.
