Hear ye and despair! Although the staff at Delta are personable and attempt to be helpful they are cannot be held to account for their promises.

The upshot is do NOT trust anything they tell you that is not in writing. I would go further and suggest that you switch your business to another air line.

Delat Airlines
I will do everything in my power to avoid flying Delta because of the higher prices Delta is charging for checked baggage. I believe that Delta does not want any bags checked, so there will be more space for cargo paid by outside companies.for example .... USPS

I believe that checked baggage prices should be lowered.
