727 for the Redskins-Lions game on NFL Sunday Ticket

I am writing regarding the ultimate snafu that your company made yesterday on the NFL Sunday Ticket package. Why was I treated to an annoying 727 message during the entire Redskins-Lions game yesterday when I live in Columbia, Maryland? Was there a specific channel that I am unaware of that carried the Redskins-Lions game for us in the greater metropolitan area? If so, I would like to know what it is, because I am unable to find it on my channel guide.

I have been a long standing and loyal customer of Directv for over 10 years, and I have never seen this happen before. When I tried calling the customer service number, 5 or 6 times yesterday, I was infuriated by the lack of response time. I waited on the phone each time for over 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. What kind of customer service department do you run over there?

I deserve an explanation of what happend and want to ensure this does not occur again next week or any week going forward.

I would like an explanation of what happened and why the game was blacked out for people who receive local BALTIMORE channels and have no option of watching a local WASHINGTON DC channel. Additionally, I would like some sort of compensation for this mistake. Say 6 months free programming, to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Please provide a response immediately.

As a Redskin fan who watched the game, you're lucky you missed it. It
was awful.

Given that the Lions ended their 20-game losing streak by beating the
Redskins, maybe you should THANK directTV! ;)
