Directv customer service is horrendous. They dont want to talk or transfer to a supervisor. They put you on hold and after 22 minutes the directv phone system hangs up on you. This is a continuation of the previous problem where they allow accounts to be bounced around to anyone who calls Example If i didnt want to pay i could transfer the account to my neighbor and they cant do a thing about it. They than get billed even though they dont have directv. Tonight May 11 I had a hoorbile time trying to talk to them. After Calling 7 times and being put on hold and hung up on I finally got a supervisor. Apparenty the technique they are taught is to taunt the customer. Ivy was the super in this case. She even went as far as to act like she couldnt hear me so i said something that i knew would get a little rage and she reacted. Showing she was obviously lying about not being able to hear me. So the Directv is turned off and they tell me they will not refund the surplus in the account. Althought they did say I could have directv ib 4 to 6 weeks. She also said I have a contract and to bad for me becuase i cant break it. What do you think? Directv allows and encourages fraud and potential ID theft yet they push the so called contract. Tehy wont even talk to you with dignaty and respect. It would be different if they acutally did what they said they would do. But Directv has gotten to big and lost touch with humans. Dish Network is hungry and they will show up on time and not lie from beggining to end. So Directv where is the answer? You shut mine down completly and didnt say a word and you hired IVy to antagonize. Poor tactics

Fire Ivy. refudn the money that is suprlus that IVY said I wouldnt get back. Admit that there is serious provacy issues. Compensate me for this anguish before I sue

I have personally experienced the hang ups (I spoke with 8 different
people tonight), the lies, the exhorbitant hold times and the "we
don't have to give service because you are locked in a contract"
attitude...it is outright extortion and something should be done about
it. I have put DirecTV on my speed dial now because I have to call
them so often, I just have to make sure I don't call them on my cell
phone because the hold times use up all my minutes.

Directv responded by telliung me even thiugh they shut off my systems
that I still had to pay for the service. They also said i cant cancel
and they will not take the equipment back. Also they said they will
not refund my overpay. They said Another person had requested service
in the same house. I asked why they gave that same persom my account
number and equipment serial numbers (dirtectv quipment is serial
number controled electronicaly) and finnayl I asked why they didnt do
a credit check on the other person instead relying on my credit check.
I have contacted the BBB and directv insist that this is a good policy
and I insisted they enchourage Identity theft.I asked one other thing.
If i signed up for the service and was to get a portable DVD player
why was it given to someone else who just called in to take my
account. Directv encourages ID theft and when confronted they act like
a trapped animal and blames the customer. I talked to the president of
the company after calling him. And he said they would contact me in 4
to 6 weeks. Untill than they will not talk to me. I said take the
equipment he refused. I told him i was moving he said i have a
contract.

Your message makes no sense whatsoever.

How is it that you claim you can transfer billing responsibility for
your account to your neighbor?
