DirecTv doesn't even want to come out

I placed an order on the website on Sept 5th 2009 and I received an installation date of Sept 10,2009 I called on the 9th and much to my dismay I find out my order has been canceled. The rep then reinstates the order and places it for the 16th between the hours of 12 and 4 again. On the 16th I find out I was changed to the 25th of the month which I find is unacceptable. Either you want my business or you dont and I am getting sick of waiting on the installation. You have lousy customer service because I was supposed to get a call from the local division and so far its been 2 hours day and no call. I work in customer service and this is unacceptable and Im already tempted to cancel the order and stay with cable since you cant seem to get your ducks in a row and provide a decent service. How would I trust your service when I have it since you have proven to be lousy and unreliable just on the installation.

I want my installation date moved up period if it cant be then I dont want this alleged company near my house. I wanted Sunday Ticket and its obvious you would rather not provide it like you advertise and I will not offer it at work from now on.

Do yourself a favor and cancel it. Please. The customer service is
poor at best, and you lose reception on a party sunny day.

If you want to get rid of cable, then I suggest Dish Network. I've
had no problems with them and I've had their service for about 9
months now.

I have direct and am fixing to change to local cable.I was suppose to
get a cruise for signing up..which I didnt.I was suppose to get $50.00
for refereing a friend which is a lie.All you get is $10.00 a month
for 5 months knocked off your bill.when the wind blows so does the
satelite.I pay $60.00 a month for programs that never change.I have
seen the same movies and programs over and over again. Its gotten to be
very boring.plus tired of talking to foreigners when I need help.

I HATE DIREC TV!!!!!

I am new to Ohio and I have ATT phone so I signed up for the DIrec
service I got an installer that said he was a contracted installer (No
Direc vehicle) they installed my service no problem but two months
later I was unable to get the HD service I was paying for and called
the installer, he informed me that he was no longer working for Direc
and that the guarantee he gave me to fix any problems free(for a fee
of $75) of charge was null and void, I called Direc and told them what
happened and they promptly told me they were not responsible for any
side deals the installer made. I asked them how I was supposed to know
the installer was making a side deal, the installer told me he was a
representative of Direc he had all the Direc paperwork, Direc told me
they could not come out to my house without charging a $45 fee and
that there would be further charges if the equipment had to be
replaced, I told them of course the equipment needed to be replaced on
the one set because the other two sets were working just fine, They
told me that I had not purchased there repair insurance at the time of
install so they would have to charge, I told them that I paid $75 for
repair guarantee.
To make a very long story short I am paying for HD service and cannot
get HD shows without the pixelation, to get out of the contract is $20
per month for the remainder of the contract.

Oh by the way I asked if I could purchase a box at Best buy they said
sure but you have to give it to us when you terminate your
service????????

Be glad. DirecTV is horrible, at least in my experience. Whenever
the was a light wind, or light rain, or a thunderstorm, the picture on
the TV would go out 100% of the time. It got really annyoing and my
parents couldn't take it so they switched providers. The one thing I
did love about DirecTV is that you could go on for one week searching
for shows and selecting them in advance to watch.

Argh! I don't blame you for being frustrated. Good luck!
