Credit Account Procedures

The account was closed after only two late payments were made yet the balance is up to date. I am a serving military member in the US NAVY and unfortunately sometimes my schedule does not allow me time for prompt attention to my affairs. Especially, when things do not occur as I had planned while I am away from homeport. I have taken measures to ensure this account will never be late again.

An additional issue regarding my account involves my Nephew James. He has filed for bankruptcy. I added him as a joint account holder while he attended college to help support his educational needs. I would like to have him removed from the account as I will still remain responsible for the balance. I fully intend on paying the debt. It would be beneficial for this administrative action to occur so that we can conitnue our five year business relationship.

Finally my question is why can't you have some give an take in regards to your customers? I would appreciate your guidance on this issue as my integrity on obligations I have agreed to is very important to me.

Because you are in the Navy I'm sure you know of other sailors who
have people back home take care of their affairs for them. They do
this so they wont have to worry about late payments. Late payments
reflect badly on you and your account, so it is fully understandable
why there is no "give" on the side of the company. They'll give when
you give on time, as per your agreement with them.

What are you offering? Surely, if you want a favor from them, you'll
be willing to do something. Are you willing to pay a higher interest
rate? Mow the lawn at their corporate headquarters? Babysit for the
CEO?
