In May 2000 I briefly opened a Discover card. According to my credit reports the account number is listed as: 60113006XXXX

I realize several years have passed, but I would like to request to have this account reopened. I am applying to medical school and in order to receive the best rate on loans I need to improve my credit reports.

It would be a tremendous assistance to me if Discover Card could reopened this account.

You will have to re-apply for a new account as they will want to review your financial situation as it stands today before extending you credit.
