Upset at how you treat your customers.

To whom this my concern:
I would like to express my experience with Discover after the past few months. I am outraged that Discover would treat a 8 year customer like this with perfect credit. I have never been late or missed a payment. Last month, I went to make a purchase but my card was declined. I was furious and embarrassed. I received a letter saying my credit limts were lowered to 500$. Thanks for the late warning after you embarrased me!

Another issue is I tried consolidating my 2 accounts that are now at 500$ into one account for 1000$ credit limit. I was first told I could do this, but I would have to call back during number hours. I did call back to be told no this is not allowed.

Is this how you treat your 8 year customers?

After all this mess, I would like Discover to reinstate my credit limits. If this is not done, I will take my Business else where. This is not how you treat a customer with a 8 year excellent credit record from any credit company. This kind of customer service needs to be reported. I will give Discover untill Sept first to reinstate my credit limits. I will also update this letter for planetfeedback readers.

Thank you.

Matt

Discover can change your rate or credit limit for any reason or no
reason. You would be better off cancelling the cards and using cash.

You really don't need credit cards nor credit to make it in life,
plenty of people have done it. Start saving while you are young. I
worked two jobs the day I turned 16 (during the summer), one sacking
groceries and the other at a pizza place in the evenings. Save what
ever you can! And Set up an emergency account for emergencies!

Credit card companies are a bunch of snakes, and if you play with the
snakes you will eventually get bit.

Good Day
