Difficulty buying through ShopDiscover

I received a promotion from Discover which said that if I bought a Dell computer through their online ShopDiscover gateway I would receive 5% cashback.

The computer I wanted was a Dell Vostro. When I clicked on the ShopDiscover link to Dell on the Discover card website, I was unable to get to the section of the Dell website where the Vostro computers are located (small business). I had to log out of ShopDiscover and log into Dell directly.

I used my Discover card to purchase the computer anyway, thinking that I might still get the cashback bonus.

I didn't get the bonus but what I did get was a postcard from Discover stating that "your recent Dell purchase could have earned you this much ($59.22) through ShopDiscover." This was adding insult to injury.

I contacted Discover through their website and got a useless response.

I would like the cashback of $59.22. I won't be using my Discover card for any purchases until I receive this
