I am a current subscriber to Dish Network and I really enjoy the programming especially compared to what I got with cable.
My problem is with some ads that I have seen lately. I frequently enjoy watching Animal Planet and the National Geographic Channel. While watching these channels, Dish Network is advertising one of it's Pay Per View games and telling you to press "select" on your remote to play. The game that you are advertising on these channels is called "Hunting Trails" which you describe on your website:
"Hunting Trails is an exciting game available on DishHOME Channel 100! Here you get the chance to hunt Whitetail and Blacktail bucks, Moose, Elk, Ducks, Jack Rabbits, Turkeys, and Grizzly Bears in 3 different stages! Be careful and avoid the female does and babies or you will be fined! Every animal you shoot earns you points along the way. Win trophies and cash to buy supplies such as grunters, camouflage, deer/duck food, deer scent, noise silencers and more accessories to help you on your hunt."
In the ad you are showing deer getting shot at. Personally I find the thought of this game to be disgusting and offensive and I can't believe anyone would think it was a good idea to advertise such a game to someone who enjoys watching Animal Planet or the Dog Whisperer on NatGeo.
I am not suggesting that you need to get rid of this ad all together but you really should stop and think about your ad placement. I know there are hunting channels and sports channels. Perhaps you should place these ads on there and not on a station meant for animal lovers and children. In the past I have seen Dish Network ads for the porn channels on stations such as Nick at Nite etc. Your ad department, or whoever is in charge of which channels to run your Pay Per View ads needs a lesson in marketing.
