 Why is Echo Star harassing us?

Harassing Phone Calls trying to sell this service
My husband just came home from open heart surgery and this company will not stop calling our home to try and sell their product, we have missed phone calls from docters because of their harassing phone calls we have spoke to at least 7 people and been put on their do not call list and they continue to harass us with phone calls starting at 8 am until after 9 at night, we have documented this on our caller id, when my husband tries to lay down for a nap rest assuried that they will be calling, we cannot turn our phone off due to the many calls from docters and nurses this is terrible and they wont listen, we are contacting the sheriffs dept in our city, the phone company and an attorney ! If my husband has a heart attact over the frustration they will be sued for wrongful death, this is criminal !!!!!! I have pleaded with this company to stop the harassing phone calls, I would like to get the number of the owner or president and start calling their home all day and all night and see how they like it , these people wont listen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop calling our home, we will never purchase this service especially after this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will tell you one of the places that sells dish network is american
satellite out of san diego. They lie to people about where they are
and you have to get a lawyer to find out. But heres their number
1-866-696-3070 and dont let them bully you because they will tell you
that you are talking to a supervisor but you wont be. american

I've got a good one. I hate those automated calls you get.
My brother answered the phone one time and got one of those. The
message was "Please wait for an important message."
I agree with the poster who said to get a whistle.

Can't you get their number blocked? I thought that was a feature
provided by the phone company.
Echo Star DOES need to stop being an ass about this, though. You can
pay like $50 for one of those online private eye services and after
you provide them with the name and locality of the company's
president, get that guy's number and call HIM constantly.

If you have caller ID then you should know when to answer and when not
too. We have it built into our phone. If I dont know the number or the
name on it I dont answer it.
Its simple really. I suggest you use it. It would really solve your
problem pretty quickly.
If they are calling to get payment I suggest you pay them to get them
off your back.

I believe when you hit *57 it is the number that records it with
either the telephone company or the police and after so many calls you
are supposed to be able to get a copy of this record. it's a free
service. It didn't work for me because my police dept never heard of
it and wouldnt give it to me but I think I talked to someone who didnt
know at the time and we didn't persue it but that is another story.
It's supposed to document harrassing phone calls.

How do you miss doctor's phone calls, unless you are answering the
other phone calls? Just don't answer the phone calls, you do have a
caller ID so you can see what calls you do and do not want to answer.
I don't see why if they were just asking if you wanted their service
and you said no, why they would keep calling you. Or is their
something else they were calling you about?
