Unable to take advantage of Dunkin Donuts survey/coupon offer

Write a Letter to this Company
Dear Sir or Madam,
This is regarding the location inside Shaws Supermarket on Main Street in Bangor, Maine. I would like to start by saying that the morning cashier, Kristy is an asset to your company. She is friendly and knows her regulars well.
My Complaint is regarding your survey website "telldunkin.com" The receipts that come from this particualr location do not have a store number on them, thus i am unable to take your survey. The survey invitation is in pink on the back of the receipt and offers a free donut with medium or larger beverage purchase.
On the telldunkin website, the image of the receipt is that of the full size stores that have the invitation printed on the front with the store number at the top of the slip.
I prefer the Shaws location because the chocolate frosted donuts actually have more than just a smear of frosting on them, but without the store number, i cannot take advantage of the deal you are offering.
I would like Dunkin Donuts to look into this. If its a matter of register programming, perhaps the store number could be included on the receipts. If this is not possible, the receipt tape should be blank on the back. I feel it somewhat underhanded to advertise free product, and not make it possible for the customer to complete the offer.
Thank You for you time and attention to this matter.
Chad G.
Brewer, Maine.

if this is like having 3rd party retailers selling Krispy Kreme donuts. Where they are manufactured and then shipped into convenience and grocery stores daily to serve areas where stand alone shops aren't plentiful.
While the product should, essentially, be the same, the enticement is to get customers into the actual stores, moreso than just purchasing the product.
Since it's a 3rd party retailer, they obviously can't assign a store number. While it may be more convenient for you to pick up the donuts at your supermarket, it may not be feasible for them to control what their vendor is doing and can't expect them to reprogram their sytems to accept single coupons that are intended for a completely different company.
The idea is good, but I have a feeling it's more complicated than that.

This is great feedback. It is odd that the store number isn't on their coupons. And your suggesttion of having them remove the offer if you can't do the survey for that store is a good one as well.
I have a suggestion for you though - why not ask them for the store number, so you have it when you go to do the survey?
I have another suggestion - you may want to frost your own donuts made from gluten free wheat flour at home. Then you won't have to worry about not being able to participate in a survey. Sure, you may have to figure out how to work with gluten free flour, and it may cost you more to make your own donuts, and you'll have to dispose of the oil, but I have read on the internet that we need to eliminate professionals and become self sufficient.
Perhaps you could convert your car to biodiesel yourself, after taking an auto mechanics course. Then you have a way to get rid of the cooking oil.
