New Seller Listing Requirement of Automatic Fee payment Enabled to List Item

i figured the autopay was put in place to help prevent people from
pulling a fast one ...

like receiving the item and then refusing to pay for it ... or mailing
a bad check while the item is in transit


this way the seller can get the money directly - and yes through
ebay's system vs outside the system.

Why is it bad business? if you want to use their service you pay for
it.

When you buy a soda do you pay for it only after you finish?

Ebay is archaic, people use craigslist now.

I usually like to pay after being billed, but in the case of Ebay, I
must have enabled automatic payments years ago - I can't remember
doing it.

Do you have a good reason to not autopay? Maybe you don't use a
credit card, and you have to make sure your checking account balance
is sufficient.

I doubt they will change the policy, but there is no problem in
asking.

Ebay doesn't listen to us peons.
