eBay has suspended my account "" wrongfully, suddenly, and without cause. eBay has not responded to repeated attempts to have the account reinstated, nor has eBay provided any information whatsoever as to why the account was suspended.
I want eBay to reinstate this account immediately. I want you to go after eBay. They are an evil, arrogant and monopolistic entity that is completely out of control.

My account was terminated as well three years ago. Their reason was for "associating with another terminated user." The "user" in question was the man that I married the following year. I sent a letter to eBay asking what I would need to do in order to reinstate my account short of 1) throwing my fiance out of our home, 2) cancelling our wedding and 3) moving.
Their correspondence is bogus. You don't get folks that sign their full names just "Lisa from the President's office" or something along those lines.
Those clowns then turned around and cancelled my PayPal account because they claimed that I was a "credit risk."

Rick,
You may want to GREATLY expand upon your particular situation after the rage subsides. I have the SAME COMPLAINT against ebay and had to spend some time responding to my repliers, especially one replier on your post (who sounds more like an ebay public relations guy). Some people do not know that they are not helping unless you repeat your main points (accurately) over again.
My experience here on PlanetFeedback is that you need to ask any nay-sayer what their history is on ebay and the type of affiliation they maintain with ebay so you won't be dismayed by their false presumptions or ploys against your arguments.
Good luck!

eBay didn't suspend your account without cause. They think there's a good reason to suspend it. If you can't use eBay you can't bring in money for them, and they want you to bring in money.
It may not be immediately apparent to you what their reason is, but if you want to challenge their decision you need to figure it out. Then you can make a case for their reason not being an adequate justification for suspending your account, or you can make a case for eBay being mistaken about whatever it is that led them to suspend your account. Just asserting that there is no reason is not going to get you anything, because it doesn't address their concerns, whatever they are. It also makes it impossible for people to figure out whether or not they support your appeal, because we know there's more to the story than you're saying, but we don't know what you're leaving out.
If you're asking someone to do something for you, it's generally not a great idea to call them "an evil, arrogant and monopolistic entity that is completely out of control." Would you want to do something nice for someone who said something like that about you?

I'm picturing a dog chasing it's own tail, for some reason. It usually helps, in a complaint letter, to give the company some shred of respect and facts to go on, and calling them evil then asking them to resolve the issue are counterproductive.

"They are an evil, arrogant and monopolistic entity that is completely out of control."
Then why you want them to reinstate you account?
Don't know about you, but when I'm dealing with someone or something "evil," I want to get away as quickly as possible.
Are you one of those people who complains that the food tastes bad... and then demands a larger portion?

And they will respond within 24-48 hours with a response that specifically tells you why you were suspended. Here you go:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/RegisterVerifyPSU.html
Just click on one of the "contact" links.
Writing to this website (PlanetFeedback) will not result in a response from Ebay. They only respond to account inquiries sent directly to them.
You wrote this letter to Ebay, and you wrote "I want you to go after eBay." How can Ebay go after itself? That doesn't make any sense.
Ebay isn't evil, arrogant, out of control or a monopoly. They are the largest auction website, with 100 million+ users worldwide. I have used them for many years, selling $1000s of stuff to customers I would have never found without the internet. I have also found stuff I would never anywhere else. If you don't like them, don't use them. Making wild accusations won't get your account unsuspended.

Do you realize that your letter is addressed to ebay, and in it, you're asking ebay to go after itself?
I find it quite impossible to believe that ebay just arbitrarily suspends accounts for no reason whatsoever.
