Stop the Annoying Pop-up Alerts, eBay

I am getting this pop up on eBay, I am selling a sweater that will weigh over 2.5 lbs. I am getting tired of these pop-up and alerts.

Attention Seller!
We noticed your shipping cost looks high compared to other listings in your category with similar shipping services. .

We've found that buyers are sensitive to shipping costs. Items with high shipping costs may be less likely to sell and may get less visibility in search results. Listings that violate the eBay Excessive Shipping Charges policy may be removed from the site.

Please review your shipping costs and make changes if necessary. For help, click the Research rates link in the shipping section.

I would like you stop sending alerts about things that do not interest me. If it does not concern me personal - sdon't send it to me.

Would you like to pay the shipping on this heavy sweater? I have listed it for .99 cents because I thought it would be better to let someone buy it than to throw it in the trash. I will not be making any money off it. Can you please stop sending me these popup. I have over 2000 positive feedback, and I think this speaks for itself.

Aren't your seller fees going to be more than $.99? Why bother selling
clothing for such a low price? I'd think your time would be worth more
than what it takes to take photos, write a description and list the
item. What about a donation bin? You don't have to throw it away!

Offer free shipping. It makes the experience much better for your
customer- I do, and my items have been selling for a lot more.

Instead of a flat shipping fee, which generates nag screens, use the
shipping calculator with a reasonable handling fee. I do it routinely
for anything that weighs over a pound and it works fine. Some people
would say start it at 9.99 and include free shipping, but that's just
another way to put money in Ebay's pocket instead of yours.

I could say a lot of things about Ebay right now, but none of them are
printable. They're attempting to drive all of the small sellers off
of the site. From the way things are going they're succeeding.

Ebay used to be pretty much wide open. Due to various abuses, they
have made things more restrictive, especially in the past year.

First a tangent - one of the obnoxious things about buying on Ebay
used to be that a buyer could charge completely unreasonable shipping
charges (eg $14.95 to ship a DVD media mail), and advertise the DVD
far below the fair market value. Yes, the savvy buyer knows the
seller is playing a shell game. But why bother? Sellers should play
fair. No person in their right mind would happily pay $17 more than
what the post office charges, knowing it is just going into the
seller's pocket.

Now to your situation. It sounds somewhat similar, because you
mention the sweater is being advertised for .99. But it seems you
want more than .99 for it. So, 1. either use a reserve 2. use a
higher starting bid or 3. hope you will have several bidders and start
at .99.

You are somewhat the victim of people abusing the system, but it
sounds like you may be trying to gain income off the shipping charge.

It elevates everyone's experience if things are done in a
straightforward way.
